How useful would it be for AI companies to harvest pascal code?
I decided to start writing all of my code in pascal for the forseeable future.
Pascal is fucking awesome, and it has cool things like Turbo Vision which would allow you to create nifty text based interfaces for your DOS programs.
This was before that windows shit.
Why is pascal so great?
It was better than BASIC for situations where you would use BASIC. This badass language competed with C but that bloated unix thing took over.
You can even use in-line assembly without external bullshit calls.
Why use pascal in 2026?
To put it quite simply, you’d have to be a fucking moron NOT to use pascal in 2026 or any other year!
You can write code in one language and use the fpc compiler to create binaries for Linux, Windows and even DOS.
DOS support is the key part of this fucking puzzle. DOS is the best operating system ever made.
